Metal Filter
Removing the filter
Fire hazard! Oily residues compromise
hood performance and increase the risk
of fire. To avoid the risk of fire the filters
must be cleaned regularly. The filters
impregnated with grease must be
cleaned at least every two weeks. The
need to clean the filters is also indicated
by the LED signal: after 15 hours of
operation, the red LED light on the
cover of the hood begins to flash, indi-
cating the need to clean the filters. Gen-
tly pull down the glass flap, with both
hands, so as to allow detachment from
the magnets
.
Tilt the glass flap slowly and remove the
filters. The metal filters can be best
cleaned in a dishwasher, using a mild
dishwashing detergent.
The manufacturer does not guarantee
proper cleaning and functioning in case
of using harsh cleansers that cause
stains on
the filters. In the same way,
temperatures over 55 degrees are to be
avoided.
Caution: Do not use three phase or
multiphase detergents. DO NOT clean
the metal filters in industrial dishwash-
ers.
Cleaning with strong detergents, such
as gasoline, acetone, trichloroethylene
etc. may ruin the metal filters beyond
repair!
Caution: To prevent galvanic reactions
during the washing process, the metal
filters cannot be washed at the same
time with a silver cutlery or crockery.
There is no right to claim if you do not
respect this recommendation. After the
cleaning, reinstall the filter. When the
LED light flashes, indicating the need to
clean the filter impregnated with grease
(symbol 1), the filter must be cleaned.
Reinstall the filter after the cleaning and
reset the grease filter cleaning signal
key, by pressing the “0” key for at least
3 seconds, until the “1” symbol stops
flashing. To rest the grease filter clean-
ing signal key, the hood must be in the
"OFF" mode. The grease filter cleaning
signal key is activated after max. 40
hours of operation
LED Lights
Defective LED lights must be re-
placed.
LED lights can be replaced exclusively
by the customer service!
