A Quick Guide to programming Motors with Integrated
Radio (Hz system)
IMPORTANT
• Only power up one motor at a time.
• Have the transmitter within 3m of the motor during setting.
• For UP and DOWN read also retract and deploy for horizontal systems.
• Motors acknowledge by running briefly in both directions.
• Motors only move in deadman until a transmitter is added to memory.
1) To reset an already programmed motor
• Turn the power to the motor OFF 2secs > ON 7secs > OFF 2 secs then ON.
• Press the program button of an already programmed transmitter for 2 to 3secs the motor will run for 5secs then
stop. Memory is now erased.
2) To program a motor from start-up
• Wake the motor up by pressing UP and DOWN simultaneously on a transmitter > motor acknowledges.
• Check the sense of rotation, if wrong press STOP for 2 secs > motor acknowledges.
3) Set the limits - screw limits
• Use the Up and DOWN buttons to control the movement. Turn the screws (+) or (-) to adjust the travel. The
arrow refers to the direction of rotation of the barrel.
4) Set the limits – electronic limits
• Use the UP and DOWN buttons to move to the DOWN position. Press UP AND STOP simultaneously > motor runs
in the UP direction. Press STOP.
• Use the UP and DOWN buttons to move to the UP position. Press UP AND STOP simultaneously > motor runs in
the DOWN direction. Press STOP for 2secs to confirm the setting.
• To change a setting, go to the limit position, press UP AND DOWN simultaneously. Move to the new limit
position. Press STOP for 2secs to confirm > motor acknowledges.
5) Add the transmitter
• Select the required channel.
• Press the program button briefly, motor acknowledges.
• Motor will now run in impulse (press to run) control.
6) Add another transmitter or add to another group
• Take an already programmed transmitter, press the program key for 3secs > motor acknowledges.
• Take the new transmitter or new channel, press program key briefly > motor acknowledges.
