The situations and instructions on troubleshooting described in this chapter are explained in such a way that
they can be understood by a trained worker.
Maintenance work may only be carried out by a qualified technician.
The shutdown procedure (see Chap. 3.9) must be followed before any maintenance or repair work is
carried out.

Replace mixer shafts that are no longer perfectly centred because they cause unbalanced shaft rotation. This
in turn wears out the motor shaft bearing and damages the floating ring and motor shaft seals. Depending on
the extent of the damage, liquid is then able to penetrate into the motor, which can short circuit.
