over 122 degrees Fahrenheit (50
℃
) as the extreme temperatures can damage the electronic
components.
5. Cold weather is also harmful to the electrical components. So, please keep the unit in
temperatures above 14 degrees Fahrenheit (-10 degrees Celsius) during operation.
6. The sonar sensor cable will become stiff in cold environment. Excessive winding or
unwinding the cable under conditions below 32

) may cause unrepairable damage.
Troubleshooting
1. Nothing Happens When I Turn the Power On.
1) Make sure that the batteries are charged. Align the batteries according to the diagram
within the battery compartment.
2) The environmental temperatures should be no lower than 14 degrees Fahrenheit (-10
degrees Celsius). So please keep the display head warm when you use it in cold
environment.
2. The Depth Reading Is “---”.
1) Make sure that you are operating the unit in depths between 3 and 148 Feet (.9 to 45
Meters). The depth is measured from the sonar sensor, not the float.
2) Make sure that the water is not overly choppy and the sonar sensor is stable in the water.
