Operation of the lifting platform
1. When the lifting platform is at the lowest level, the
user can freely drive up on to the lifting platform.
2. The platform is activated by pressing the up button on the operating panel (1)
or on the up button on the wireless hand sender. Hereby the 4 safety edges
automatically go up. The button is active as for as long as it is held down.
3. When all 4 safety edges are up, the platform will start to rise.
4. When the platform is level with the landing, the platform stops and the safety
edge in the front goes down automatically so the user can freely drive onto
the landing.
5. After use the lifting platform must always be lowered to its lowest level.
Ac tivate the down button and keep it active until the platform has reached its
lowest level. Make sure that the safety edges are completely down before
leaving the lifting platform.
The lifting platform can be equipped with an overload indicator. If the lifting
platform is overloaded, the lifting platform will not lift or lower. After the over-
load has been removed, the platform can operate again.
2 .03 Safety functions
Important!
Individual and specific consideration must be given to how an emergency
summoning system must work. One or more responsible people should be
appointed to help with the correct use of the lifting platform. It should always be
possible to call those responsible in any emergency situation. The users must
be informed of who holds this responsibility.
Description of the emergency stop
The emergency stop must be used
in emergencies only. If the emer-
gency stop is activated owing
to a mal function, the dealer
must be contacted before the
lifting platform is used again.
The emergency stop (3) is
positioned in the centre of the
control panel. It stops all
movement when activated.
Important!
Pull out the emergency stop and briefly press the control button twice to
restart the lifting platform.
Safety curtain
The safety curtain ensures that nobody can move in beneath the platform
when it is at its highest level and thereby risk getting caught when the lifting
platform is lowered. The safety curtain is fitted upon delivery.
