Starting the engine
Attention! Carbon monoxide is poisonous.
Inhalation may lead to loss of consciousness or
even death. Avoid places or activities where
you would be exposed to a high concentration
of carbon monoxide.
1. Fill a two-stroke fuel mixture (mix 40:1) to the
respective fuel tank opening. Make sure no fluid leaks
(risk of ignition).
2. Stay at least 3 metres from the place of filling. Never
switch the appliance on in closed or poorly ventilated
areas.
3. Ignition is carried out via the ignition cable and
spark plug connector that is connected to the spark
plug. Check that the spark plug connector is correctly
seated (Figure 15 A).
4. Set the ON/OFF switch (Figure 16 A) to the „ON“
position (ignition released).
Cold start
1. For cold start, set the choke lever (Figure 15 B) to
„ON“ „
“.
2. Put the appliance on the floor and secure it to stand
firmly.
3. Slowly pull the starter cable (Figure 15c) until you
feel resistance, then pull it hard.
Attention! Do not let the starter cable
wind back by jerking. Guide it back slowly to
prevent damage to the starter kit. Never pull
the starter cable out of the starter kit until it
stops.
4. When the engine starts, guide the starter cable with
the starter slowly back.
5. When the engine is started, move the choke lever
slowly to the „OFF“ position and allow the engine to
warm up for about 3 to 5 minutes.
6. Adjust the engine speed using the throttle lever
(Figure 16 B). In the „full load“ position, the engine
reaches its maximum operating speed by which the
sprayer should be propelled. The „idle“ position is only
for short-term interruption of work when the engine
does not need to be switched off.
Warm start
1. Leave the choke lever in the „OFF“ position„
“.
2. Adjust the engine speed using the throttle lever
(Figure 16 B). In the „full load“ position, the engine
EN
reaches its maximum operating speed by which the
sprayer should be propelled. The „idle“ position is only
for short-term interruption of work when the engine
does not need to be switched off.
Switching the engine off
Before switching the engine off, let it run idle for 2-3
minutes so that the engine cools down. Then move
the appliance to the „OFF/0“ position.
Caution!
If the appliance does not stop after moving
the switch to the „OFF“ position, move the choke all
the way down. The machine will then switch off as too
much fuel will be brought. Clean the appliance and
check it for damage.
Read the troubleshooting section in this manual!
Operation
The appliance noise level depends on the revolutions!
Always use only revolutions that are necessary for the
given work.
When using certain materials (e.g. powders),
electrostatic pressure may occur, especially at low
air humidity. To prevent the occurrence of even fatal
injuries, you must never use substances that can form
flammable or explosive mixtures. To avoid the risk of
sparks due to electrostatic charge when using dry
substances, you should use a ground wire that must
be in contact with the earth to discharge electrostatic
charge.
You have two options of using the appliance:
Spraying
1. Before filling the chemical tank with solution, it is
recommended to try filling it with water to see if the
tank is actually waterproof.
2. Before filling the tank, ensure that all components
are properly installed and that the shut-off cock is in
the „closed“ position.
3. To prevent solvents from spilling, fill the tank slowly
and never to the maximum level.
The solution must be clean, otherwise the
nozzle will clog.
Check that the earth wire is in contact with
the ground (Figure 17).
4. After starting the appliance, clamp it on your back.
Set the control lever to the operating speed, open the
shut-off valve (Figure 18 A) and move the spray jet
using the blow tube.
5. If you are going to use the appliance for a long time
