Maintenance and care
To ensure a problem-free operation, you must perform the following jobs after every 1.000 opening
cycles, however, at least once a year:

Check all screws to ensure they are tight and retighten them if necessary.

Check if the window sash is seated perfectly in the window frame. Adjust fixings if necessary.

Check all parts for damage and wear. Replace parts where necessary.

Never use acidic or basic cleaning agents. Do not immerse the appliance in water.

Do not try to repair the drive yourself in case of failure. Do not remove the casing or other parts.
In case of signs of damage to the appliance contact the manufacturer. Only spare parts supplied
by the manufacturer may be used for repair.

If a defect appears with one as concealed built-in locking drive so can be opened the window by
an emergency unlock (see section „ 2.8 help in case of malfunctions“)

Help in case of malfunctions
The metal building company or end-user cannot repair a faulty motor properly, therefore this is not
permitted. Repairs may only be carried out in the factory. If you open the motor or tamper with it, the
warranty becomes null and void.

Therefore you should replace a faulty motor and have it repaired.

If the motor is immobilised, check whether the load cutout has been activated.
In case any problems arise during installation or operation of the drive, please consult the following
table for possible help:

If the motor does not respond to actuation by switch/button, have the power supply checked by
a qualified person.
Emergency unlock of the engine with installation concealed in the profile

Before the installation of the locking drive a drilling must be introduced in the profile and be closed
again with a suitable cover, so that no dirt can penetrate into the engine.

To the emergency unlock of the locking drive remove the cover and break through the self adhe-
sive circle. With a cross-recessed screwdriver (Philips size 3) access the bevel wheel in the engine.
According to locking position the screwdriver must be turned in or against the hand sense.
