13 Trouble-shooting
Installers or end-users must not repair a faulty motor themselves. Professional repair can only
be carried out by the manufacturer. If you open the motor or manipulate it in any way, the war-
ranty shall be null and void.

Therefore you should replace a faulty motor or have it repaired
º
If the motor stops running, check whether the limit position switch is activated.
In case any problems arise while installing or operating the drive, please consult the following
trouble-shooting table:

Connecting cable unplugged or

Check the fault current circuit
breaker or safety switch.

Check all electrical connec-
tions of the drive.

Exchange the drive.
If the motor does not respond to actuation by wall switch, have the power supply checked by a
qualified electrician.

Dismantling

To disassemble the appliance follow the mounting instructions in reversed order omitting the
adjustments.

The guarantee complies with the legal regulations and is valid in the country where the motor
was purchased.
The guarantee covers material and manufacturing defects occurring under normal stress.
Guarantee and liability claims in view of personal injury and damage to property are excluded, if
the latter have occurred as a result of

Inappropriate use of the motor.
•
Improper installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and repair of the motor.
•
Operation of the motor with faulty, incorrectly fitted or non-functional safety and protection devices.
•
Failure to observe the advice given in the assembly and operating instructions.
•
Unauthorised structural modification of the motor.
