· Start on the trigger of tool and start working
Hold the tool firmly with both hands, turn the
tool on and apply slight pressure on the tool so
that the tool will not bounce around, uncon-
trolled. Pressing very hard on the tool will not
increase the efficiency.
MAINTENANCE

center.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
1. Avoid the tool vibration or impact, and keep
it from oil and grease.
2. Inspect bolts periodically. If the bolts loosen,
tighten them immediately, or will result in seri-
ous accident.
3. Inspect tool cords periodically. If damaged,
have repaired at your nearest Authorized Ser-
vice Center.
4. Keep the vents clean. Clean all parts of the
tool, clean dust periodically. To prevent debris
entry.
CARBON BRUSHES
The carbon brushes and the collets must be ex-
amined frequently. A good contact result the
tool to be strong. When the spark around the
collector becomes largest the carbon brushes
should be changed.
CLEANING
WARNING: Before to clean or realize any
kind of maintenance, the tool must be un-
plugged of the power source. The most effec-
tive cleaning method could be flow the tool
with dry compressed air. Always use goggles
when perform this activity. Keep the handle
clean, dry and oil free. Use only a gently soap
and a wet wiper to clean the tool. Many clean-
ing products has chemical which can seriously
damage the plastic and other isolated parts.
The ventilation slots must be kept clean. Don’t
try clean it introducing sharp objects trough
ventilation slots.
CAUTION: Don’t use chemical agents as pe-
troleum, solvents or similar products to clean
the tool.
WARNING: Use only accessories that are
recommended by the manufacturer for your
model. Accessories that may be suitable for
one tool may become hazardous when used
with another tool.
WARNING: Maintain tools with care. Keep
cutting tools sharp and clean.
WARNING: Check extension cords before
each use. If damaged, replace immediately.
Never use tool with a damaged cord.
TROUBLESHOOTING
MOTOR STOPS RUNNING
Unconnected to power source. Connect to
power source.
Plugs not fully connect. Check all plugs.
Switch out of work. Replace or repair the switch.
Brushes not touch the commutator. Replace
the brush with a new one.
DRILL BIT DOESN’T ROTATE
Operating mode selector knob not engaged.
After rotation has stopped, move the operat-
ing mode selector knob until it engages.
NO HAMMERING ACTION AND THE TOOL
WOBBLES
The tools is too cold. Allow tool to reach the
minimum operating temperature.
Operating mode selector knob set to rotary
drilling. Set operating mode selector knob to
hammer drilling.
TOOL DOESN’T PRODUCE FULL POWER
Control switch is not pressed fully. Press the
control switch as far as it will go.
