Mains operation
Note:

Check that the mains voltage
on the type plate (on the rear of
the device) corresponds to your
local mains supply. If this is not
the case, contact your specialist
dealer.

Insert the plug of the mains adapt-
er cable into the »
DC IN
« socket.

Plug the power adapter into an
electrical outlet (100 - 240 V~,
50/60 Hz).
Caution:

The device is connected to the
mains with the power adapter
plug. Unplug the mains adapter
to completely disconnect the de-
vice from the mains..

Make sure the power adapter
plug is easily accessible during
operation and not hindered by
other objects.
Battery operation

Open the battery compartment
underneath the device by press-
ing the catch and removing the lid.

Insert the batteries (4 x 1.5V, Type
LR 06/AM 3/AA) according to
the polarity marked on the battery
compartment.

Close the battery compartment.
