8. Remove seal cover.

9. If seal cover is stuck to the pump housing cover use two seal

cover screws as jacking bolts.

10. Remove stationary part of the shaft seal from seal cover.

11. Note O-ring condition on shaft seal and on seal cover (surface

cracks, stiffness, swelling).

12. Remove rotating part of the shaft seal.
