13.4.2 Cleaning of flow fitting
• The electrode block (counter-electrode M) can be cleaned with
conventional soap suds.
• If high contamination or furring is evident, clean the
dismantled flow fitting (pos. F) briefly with dilute hydrochloric
acid (maximum 5-10 %).
• After cleaning, flush all parts in contact with the acid with
running water.
13.4.3 Replacing the wear parts
See section
The spare parts set 91835822 (553-1010) consists of 15 balls,
magnetic stirring stone, slide disk and gasket.

13.4.4 Cleaning of the measuring electrode
• Rub the noble metal surface of the potentiostatic electrode
(pos. E), if necessary (soiling by fat, deposits, etc.), with
scouring powder or a clean cloth.
• After cleaning, flush with running water.
13.4.5 Assembly of measuring cell

Mounting instructions for the measuring cell
1. Put the floater of the sample water adjusting device (pos. L)
with its point below into the sight glass, and screw on the
floater stopper.
2. Screw in the adjusting spindle of the sample water adjusting
device (pos. L).
3. Plug the cover on the sample water limitation (pos. G).
4. Screw in the contact (pos. N) of the counter-electrode (pos.
M) manually.
5. Screw the flow fitting (pos. F) onto the mounting plate.
6. Place the slide disk (pos. 4) into the screw part.
7. Place the flat bottom of the magnetic stirring stone (pos. 3)
into the drilled hole of the screw part.
8. Install the screw part (pos. 5) from below in the body of the
measuring cell. Keep it in a vertical position, and tighten it with
the face spanner.
9. Fill 15 balls (pos. 2) from above into the location (pos. C) of
the potentiostatic electrode (pos. E).
Warning
When cleaning with hydrochloric acid it is absolutely
necessary to wear safety goggles.
Caution
Be careful not to put any cleaning solution in the
drilled hole of the contact bushing.
Caution
Before using other detergents, check the chemical
resistance of the materials, as they might be
damaged.

section
13.4.4 Cleaning of the measuring electrode
.
Caution
Look
into the location for electrode installation (pos.
C):
All balls (pos. 2) must be placed below the electrode
centering (black ring with centered toothing).
