End Panel Installation
3
END PANEL INSTALLATION – continued
6. With assistance, carefully lift panel into
position and wrap material around rafter.
Hold in position. If peak purlin is attached to
end rafter, remove Tek screw and work end
panel between peak purlin and rafter.
8. Take a CC6214 fabric clip and snap it to the
backside of the end rafter. Continue adding
clips until entire panel is secured to rafter.
Space fabric clips every 36" along rafter.
9. Test zipper operation. If panel is too tight,
zippers will open, but will not close easily.
Do not force zipper!
Loosen panel as
needed so zippers function properly, then
continue.
10. Drive a Tek screw through each clip and
into rafter.
Position screws in a location
that will not contact cover material.
Tape over screw if needed to protect cover
material.
11. Carefully remove excess panel material
if desired. Allow a few inches to remain
beyond fabric clips in case panel needs
tightened.
NOTE:
Reinstall screw
after
end panel
install is complete.
7. Continue pulling panel into position until
entire panel is wrapped over rafter.
Do not
pull too tight; doing so will stress the zipper.
12. Repeat steps to install remaining end panel.
13. Return to each end rafter and reattach peak
purlin to rafter if it was loosened to install
panel.
14. Continue with next procedure.
5. Fold panel so it rests on top of conduit.
Actual end panel design may differ.
