FRAME ASSEMBLY
Gather the parts:
• Assembled rafters
• Purlin pipes (#131P060) 60" plain
• Duct tape (optional and customer supplied)
Complete these steps to assemble the frame.
NOTE:
Assistance may be required to assemble the frame
members.
1. Locate one (1) end rafter assembly.
2. Insert three (3) purlin pipes into the 3-way couplers on
the end rafter and tighten the locking screws.
3. Locate one (1) interior rafter assembly.
4. Connect the interior rafter to the installed purlin pipes
on the end rafter and tighten the locking screws.
5. Insert three (3) purlin pipes into the 4-way couplers on
the interior rafter and tighten the locking screws.
6. Add another interior rafter and repeat the previous
steps until all interior rafters are used.
7. Complete the frame assembly by attaching the
remaining end rafter.

8. Recheck all locking screws and verify that they are
tight.
9. Examine the frame for any sharp edges on the
couplers. Wrap two layers of duct tape over any sharp
edges that may cause damage to a cover if one will be
installed.
10. Continue with the cover installation if cover was
purchased.
