Configure a Controller
The following steps are needed to get an Advance controller online:
1.
Select the controller card. Once selected an orange border will be seen
around the controller card.
2.
Press the Install button.
3.
Under the Basic Setting, do not edit the Default URI for the controller.
Leave this as the default, http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080/janusc4 (where xxx.
xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of the Janus C4 server)
4.
Under the application role select either IP Controller or 485 Controller, note
that to configure an RS-485 controller you must first have added the line
header that the RS-485 controller will talk too.
5.
Under the addressing options add the network settings. For IP controllers
this can either be to use a DHCP server, or to add the IP address for the
controller. For 485 controller this will be the name of the 485 Line Header
and the baud rate.
