Wear appropriate clothes. Do not wear loose clothes or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothes and
gloves away from the moving parts. Hair, clothes and gloves can be caught in the moving parts.
g.
If it is possible to mount dust extraction and collection devices, make sure that they are plugged
in and will be properly used. Using a dust extraction device can reduce dust-related hazards.
4. Proper power tool use and care
a.
Do not overload the tool. Use the power tools with their intended purpose. Working with a
properly selected power tool makes the work easier and more eff ective.
b.
Do not use a power tool with a broken on/off switch. A power tool which cannot be turned on
or off is dangerous and needs repairment.
c.
Make sure you unplug the cord from the power source before making any adjustment, chang-
ing accessories or after your work is fi nished. This safety measure prevents unintentional start-
ups of the power tool.
d.
Store the power tools away from the reach of children. Do not allow persons unfamiliar with
the tool or the instructions. The power tools used by inexperienced persons are dangerous.
e.
The maintenance of the power tool is necessary. Control if the moving parts of the tool work
fi ne and are not blocked, if they are not broken and damaged in a way that would infl uence
the proper performance of the power tool. Broken tools must be returned for repair before
use. Accidents are commonly caused by inappropriate maintenance of the powertools.
f.
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Well-maintained tools bind less often and can be con-
trolled more easily.
g.
Use the power tools, accessories, auxiliary tools, etc. according to the instructions. Pay atten-
tion to the conditions and the kind of work that you perform. The non-designated use of the
power tool can lead to hazardous situations.
5. Service
a.
The repairment of the power tool must be carried out by a qualifi ed repair person using iden-
tical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of use is kept.
Drill driver safety notice
Read the manual before using the tool. Keep the manual for future reference. Do not use the tool be-
fore reading the manual especially regarding adjustments, defects and their removal.
Do not use the grinder near highly fl ammable substances (solvents, petrols, other highly fl ammable
substances). The engine creates sparks which can cause explosion or ignition.
The tool is not fi tted for
use in explosive atmosphere.
Make sure that the tool is unplugged from the power source before performing any maintenance or
repair works.
Recoil and safety notice
Recoil is a sudden reaction of the power tool to blocking or obstacles met by the rotating tool.
The latching or blocking leads to a sudden stop of the rotating working tool. Uncontrolled
power tool will be jerk in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the working tool.
When, for example, dill is jammed with an element, the part immersed in the material part
can be blocked and cause its fall or recoil. Recoil is the result of improper use or misuse of the
power tool. It can be avoided by following the described below safety measures.
Hold the power tool fi rmly and keep the body and hands in a position allowing for sof-
tening of recoil. If the standard kit includes side handle, always use it to have maximum
control over recoil or torque during start-up.
The operator can control the jerks and recoil
by following safety measures.
