Side handle adjustment
The tool is provided with an adjustable side handle (6), which can be adjusted to a random position
around the collar of the machine. In order to do that:
1.
Grab the handle and try to unscrew it
2.
The handle should start turning and loosen the mount with the collar
3.
Place in the desired position
4.
Tighten the handle hard by locking it in the desired position.
Gear shift (GIDV 1100 RL only)
GIDV 1100 RL hammer-drill is provided with a gear shift. Gears are characterised by diff erent RPM and
torque values. On the fi rst gear the spindle rotates slower with higher force. On the second the RPM is
higher, and the rotation force is lower. In order to select a gear:
1.
Turn off the machine
2.
Toggle the gear shift knob (8) into position I or II as needed.
Rotation regulation and reversing of the work tool rotation
The tool enables RPM regulation and reversing of the work tool rotation. Both the control (13) and the
switch (14) are close to the main switch (10). To regulate the RPM use the control (13) to set the desired
RPM. To reverse the rotation, move the switch (14) to the left or right of the axis of the machine.
TOOL STARTING:
Pay attention to the voltage of the power network to which the tool is plugged. The voltage and fre-
quency of the power source must match the parameters on the identifi cation plate. The power tool
designed for 230V system can be connected to the power network operating at 220V.
When using portable power sources (generators) remember that it can result in drops in capacity, if the
power reserve of the electrical feed is not suffi
cient.
To start the tool:
1.
Press the ON switch (10)
2.
The tool can be locked for continuous use by pressing the lock buton (12) after switching on
(10).
3.
To release the lock, press (10) and release.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
Unplugging the power cord from the socket is an absolute necessity before the maintenance work is
started!
Any maintenance works or repairs requiring removal of the engine housing must be done by the main
service provider or by authorised service providers.
Keep the tool and the handles dry and clean. Keep clear of grease and oil. Venitalion slots should not
be obscured.
Apply damp cloth to the outer surfaces of the casing. Do not use running water or sprayers.
