To reduce the risk of serious injury or fire when using this machine:

  1.  Read and understand owner’s manual before operating.
 2. Always wear approved eye and ear protection and a respirator during 

operation, or when cleaning trays or filters.

  3.  Only connect with smooth-walled sheet metal ducting—do not use PVC.
  4.  Do not connect to any machine using a coolant system.
  5.  Entire collection system (col ductwork) must be bonded and 

grounded to minimize static electrical charge.

  6.  Only collect a single type of metal/material at one time.
  7.  Do not use to collect niobium, tantalum, titanium, zirconium, or hafnium.
  8.  Never use machine to collect combustible or explosive metal dust, wood 

chips, sawdust, or other ordinary combustible materials!

  9.  Always disconnect power before servicing or cleaning.
10.  Empty collector and isolate ductwork before performing service/repairs.
11.  Do not expose to rain or use in wet areas.
12.  Do not use if cord, plug, or any other electrical equipment becomes 

damaged—promptly repair!

13.  Verify metals to be collected are not in a combustible or explosive form.
 14.  Do not modify machine in any way.
15.  Remove collected dust/chips from dust tray at the end of each day. 

Store in a closed-top metal container.

16.  Know about and be prepared to safely fight a combustible metal fire.
 17.  Prevent unauthorized use by children or untrained users.
