Converting Voltage
to 240V
For your own safety, and to maintain the warranty
for the machine, the voltage conversion MUST be
performed by an electrician or qualified service
personnel.
The voltage conversion procedure consists of
installing the correct plug and rewiring the motor.
A wiring diagram is provided on
Page 42 for your
reference.
IMPORTANT: If the diagram included on the
motor conflicts with the one on
Page 42, the
motor may have changed since the manual was
printed. Use the diagram included on the motor
instead.

4. Remove wire nuts indicated in Figure 4.
To convert Model G0852 to 240V:
1. DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!
2. Cut 120V 5-15 plug from power cord.
3. Remove screw that secures junction box
cover to motor (see
Figure 3).
5. Use wire nuts to connect wires, as indicated
in
Figure 5. Twist wire nuts onto their respec-
tive wires and wrap them with electrical tape
so they will not come loose from vibration of
motor operation.
6. Install a NEMA 6-15 plug, according to manu-
facturer's instructions included with plug. If
no instructions were included, use wiring
diagram on
Page 42.
