WARNING
The blade coming in contact with the workpiecebefore it
reaches full speed could cause saw to“kickback” toward
you resulting in serious injury.
After you complete your cut release the trigger and
allowthe blade to come to a complete stop. After the blade
hasstopped, lift the saw from the workpiece.
TO ADJUST BEVEL SETTING
See Figure 21
Remove the battery pack from the saw.
Loosen the bevel adjustment knob until the saw body
moves freely.
Raise the motor housing side of the saw until you
reachthe desired angle setting on the bevel scale (0-
J+
Tighten the bevel adjustment knob securely.
WARNING
Attempting bevel cut without lever securelytightened
can result in serious injury.

To check:
Remove the battery pack from the saw.
Place the saw in an upside down position on
aworkbench.
Using a carpenter’s square, check the squareness of
thesaw blade plate to the base of the saw.
TO ADJUST 0° BEVEL STOP
Remove the battery pack from the saw.
Loosen the bevel adjustment knob.
Place the saw in an upside down position on
aworkbench.
Turn the screw and adjust the base until it is square
withthe saw blade plate.
Re-tighten the bevel adjustment knob.
WARNING
Attempting to make cuts without the beveladjustment
knob securely tightened can result inserious injury.
