Using the IPM-400 to Read (cont’d)
Read DC and AC Voltages
Display: mV, V, Vhi, Vac
This function measures DC voltage from 0.00 mV to 110.0 mV and from 0.00 VDC to
10.25 VDC. Use the high voltage connection to read from 0.0 VDC to 200.0 VDC.
This function also measures AC voltage from 0 VAC to 250 VAC, using the high voltage
connection.
1. Turn the Selector knob to .
2. Connect the black and red leads to the meter as shown for the appropriate range.
3. Repeatedly press the DISPLAY/SOURCE/READ button until “READ” appears on the
display.
4. Press the TYPE/ENG UNITS button to select the desired function.
5. Connect the red (+) lead and the black (–) lead of the meter across the voltage to be
measured.
6. Use the toggle switch to view the maximum and minimum values.
