ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
CAUTION!
:
Risk of injury
Carrying out the above mentioned operations require wearing
safety gloves, goggles or face shield, ear protectors and safety
shoes.
CAUTION!
The oil in excess has to be drained out to avoid leaks and soil
pollution.
CAUTION!
Before starting any servicing or setting operation, switch off the
engine and take off the key from the control panel.
11.8 Maintenance of the internal combustion engine
NOTE : Please refer to the User Handbook delivered with the machine and specifically
referring to the engine .
11.9 Checking the hydraulic fluid level and changing oil
The tank of the hydraulic fluid is fitted with a
dipstick
(A).
Periodically check the fluid level and top up with
“
Roloil LI 46
“ oil, when required. Oil has to be
changed every 800 working hours or every 18
months.
For changing oil, follow this procedure:
−
loosen and remove the oil filler plug
(T)
−
loosen and remove the lower draining plug,
taking care of collecting the dirty oil into a
container
−
put the drain plug in place
−
Fill the tank with oil up to reach the oil level
marking on the gauge
−
close the tank by tightening the upper plug.
11.10 Replacing the hydraulic fluid filter
The hydraulic fluid filter has to be changed after
the first 100 working hours and later on every
300 hours.
Loosen the cartridge and change it with a new
one
Restore the oil level in the tank checking it on
the level gauge.
The MAX. pressure in the system must be 170
Bars. The MAX pressure is factory set and has
absolutely not to be modified or tampered with
for any reason whatever.
