Storage
The generator should be started at least once every 14 days and allowed to run for at least 20
minutes. For longer term storage, please follow these guidelines.
Engine Storage
1. Allow the engine to cool completely before storage.
2. Clean the engine according to the instructions in the Maintenance section.
3. Turn the “Engine Switch” off on the generator.
4. Close the manual shutoff valve on the LPG cylinder or on the NG pipeline and disconnect from
the generator.
5. Drain all the oil.
6. Remove the spark plug and pour about ½ ounce of oil into the cylinder. Crank the engine slowly
to distribute the oil and lubricate the cylinder.
7. Reattach the spark plug.
Generator Storage
1. Allow the generator to cool completely before storage.
2. Clean the generator according to the instructions in the Maintenance section.
3. Store the unit in a clean, dry area, out of direct sunlight.
Transportation
Drain all remained oil in the crankcase.
Package generator set according factory state.
Never lay the generator set with upside down.
