6 Before contacting a service technician

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Check the following before contacting a service technician. You may find the solution to your problem here. 

If the unit still does not function properly after checking this list, please contact your local dealer.

Not running

Check if electrical wire is damaged and if breaker switch is on.

Check if the power supply is correct.

Check if the timer switch is on or not.

The air conditioner runs but

does not cool enough

Check if the preset temperature is too high.

Check if sunlight is shining directly into the room.

Check if the doors and windows are open.

Check if there is anything obstructing the air discharge.

Check if the exhaust fan is working.

Check if the air filter is dirty or clogged.

Vapour or mist coming out

of the unit while running.

Hot air in the room mixes with cool air. This causes mist.

Remote control not working

Loose or disconnected wire between the unit and the display.

Check if the batteries are inserted in correct direction.

Check if the batteries are empty.
