Troubleshooting

Some problems may be caused by minor faults that you
can fix yourself. To do so, follow the instructions in the
following table. If it is still not possible to resolve the
problem, contact the customer service. Do not repair
the blood pressure monitor yourself.
Problem

Blood pressure
results are not
within typical
range.
The cuff is too
tight or not pro-
perly positioned
on the arm.
Reposition the cuff
(approximately
0.4–0.8 inch (1–2 cm))
above the elbow
joint.
Inaccurate test
results due to
body movement
or blood pressure
monitor
movement.
Sit in a relaxed
position with the
arm placed near the
heart. Avoid speaking
or moving body parts
during measurement.
Make sure the blood
pressure monitor is
placed in a stationary
position throughout
the measurement.
“Err” is
displayed.
The cuff fails to
inflate properly.
Make sure the cuff
hose is properly
connected to the cuff
and monitor.
Improper
operation.
Read the user manual
carefully and perform
the measurement
again properly.
Pressurization is
over 300 mmHg.
