Throttle Lever (Item 3) (915038, 040)
Move throttle lever to
FAST position to increase
engine speed.
Move throttle lever to
SLOW position to
decrease engine speed.
Choke Control (Item 4) (915038, 040)
To start a cold engine, pull
choke control out to engage
choke. Push choke control in
to disengage choke.
Parking Brake (Item 7)
Pull lever up
to engage
parking brake
and push
lever down to
disengage
parking brake.
PTO Switch (Item 2)
Engages and
disengages the
attachment. Pull switch
to engage; push switch
to disengage.
Steering Levers (Item 6)
A. Reverse: Pull both steering levers
backward.
B. Forward: Push both steering levers
forward.
C. To Turn Left: Pull the left steering lever
back or push the right steering lever
forward or a combination of both.
D. To Turn Right: Pull the right steering
lever back or push the left steering
lever forward or a combination of both.
Neutral Lockout Position (figure 5):
• The steering levers must be in the Neutral
Lockout Position to start the engine.
• The parking brake must be disengaged
prior to moving the steering levers from
the Neutral Lockout Position.
Mower Lift Pedal (Item 10)
Raises and lowers mower deck.
A. Travel Position (figure 6)
Press mower lift pedal (item 2) all the way
forward. Install adjustment pin (item 1)
into the seventh (# 7) adjustment hole
(item 4).
B. Cutting Position (figure 6)
