Throttle Control Lever
Always use a slow engine speed until you can operate the
unit safely.
Changes the engine speed.
Fast (1) – Increases engine speed.
Slow (2) – Decreases engine speed.
Power Take Off (PTO) Switch
Engages (1) and disengages (2) the
attachment.
Attachment Lift Switch (Figure 11)
This switch raises and lowers the attachment for operation,
and it also moves attachments into a service or maintenance
position.
To lower (1) – Push the attachment lift switch to the DOWN
position.
To raise (2) – Push the attachment lift switch to the UP
position.
Lift Arm Up/Down Switch (Figure 11)
Raises and lowers the lift arms to aid with attachment
alignment and installation.
Raising an Attachment into a Service Position
The deck can be pivoted into service positions for cleaning
or maintenance.
NOTE: You must turn off the weight transfer system to use
this feature. Make sure you turn on the weight transfer
system when you complete this task. Operating the unit with
the weight transfer system turned off will cause you to lose
drive wheel traction and may damage the lift arms and the
unit frame.
NOTE: The unit must be running when using this system.
Make sure the parking brake is engaged and the PTO is off
when pivoting any attachment into the service position.
Make sure any attachment is well-supported and cannot fall
on you before performing any service or repair while the
attachment is in the service position.
To raise the deck into a service position:
1. Start the engine and set the throttle to 3/4 speed.
2. Raise the deck to its highest position to relieve pressure
on the rear (gold plated) lock latches.

CAUTION: AVOID INJURY. Stand to the side
of the unit when pivoting an attachment into the
service position. DO NOT sit in the operator’s
seat when using the hydraulic system to pivot
attachments.
