Building instructions
Before you start gluing parts together, use a servo tester or the radio control system to
check that the servos are working properly.
Apply epoxy to the whole surface of the wing root facing ribs and glue the wings to the
fuselage, lining them up carefully with the root fairings moulded into the fuselage. Wipe
off excess epoxy with methylated spirit (“meths”) on a piece of paper towel. Hold or tape
the parts together and leave the epoxy to set hard.
Glue the tailplane, the fins and the fuselage nose-cone in place using the same
procedure.
Insert the ready-made undercarriage legs in the sockets in the wings.
Glue the aileron pushrod guides in the appropriate recesses.
Connect the aileron, rudder and elevator linkages. Set the servos to neutral from the
transmitter, and screw the clevises in or out on the pushrods until the control surfaces
are also at neutral; the bellcrank should be at right-angles to the fuselage centreline.
Peel off the decals from the backing film and apply them to the underside of the model in
the arrangement shown in the kit box illustration.
Connect the servo leads to the receiver in the correct sequence, and install the receiver
below the battery compartment using double-sided foam tape, as shown in the
illustration. Deploy the aerial lead along the fuselage. We strongly recommend that you
use an SPCM receiver in this model.
You may need to remove a little foam and plastic at the front of the fuselage to clear the
flight battery, as shown in the photo.
Slide the battery, Order No. 7643.3, into the battery compartment, and close the hatch
cover. Push the drop-tank into the opening on the underside.

- Assemble the model as described in these instructions, program the radio control
system as explained above, and charge all the batteries fully. There is now no excuse
for not flying the model!
