Outdoor temperature sensor (OTS)

An outdoor temperature compensation (OTC) regulation allows the the water heater to respond quickly
to changes of the outdoor temperature, in order to adjust the supply temperature and guarantee a
constant room temperature
If you connect an outdoor temperature sensor (NTC 100 kΩ) to the external input of the room thermostat
clock, in the installation menu under

OuTDOOR TEMPERATuRE SENSOR (OTS)

you have to select the

setting

ON

The outdoor-temperature-dependent regulation must be activated in the installation menu under

OTC

REGuLATION (OTC)

(

ON

) If you do not activate the outdoor-temperature-dependent regulation (

OFF

),

only the current outdoor temperature will be shown on the display
The outdoor temperature sensor can also be connected directly to the water heater An outdoor-
temperature-dependent regulation is also possible in this case, but the current outdoor temperature will
not be shown on the display of the room thermostat clock
