Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that
cannot be controlled with the switch provided is a hazard and must be repaired.
o
Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery from the power tool before
making adjustments, changing accessories or storing the power tool. Such preventive
safety measures reduce the risk of accidental start-up of the power tool.
o
Keep power tools that are not in use out of the reach of children. Do not allow persons
who are not familiar with the power tool or these instructions to operate this power tool.
Power tools can be dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
o
Maintain power tools regularly. Check the power tool for misalignment and for any
jamming of moving parts, broken parts, and any other condition that may affect the
operation of the tool. If the power tool is damaged, have it repaired before using it.
Accidents are often caused by poorly maintained tools.
o
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting
edges jam less often and are easier to control.
o
Only use the power tool, accessories and tool heads etc. in accordance with these
instructions and while taking into account the working conditions and the work to be
carried out. Using the power tool for work other than that for which it is intended can
result in hazardous situations.
Use and care of the battery pack
o
Only charge the battery using the charger specified by the manufacturer. Using a charger
that is not designed for a particular type of battery pack may cause a fire when used with
another type of battery pack.
o
Only use power tools with specially designed battery packs. The use of other batteries
may cause injury and fire.
o
When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects such as paper
clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can connect from one
terminal to the other. Short-circuiting the battery terminals can cause burns and fire.
o
Improper use may cause liquid to leak from the battery; avoid contact. If accidental
contact occurs, rinse the area with water. If liquid gets into the eye, rinse the eye
immediately with clear - preferably running - water and seek medical attention
immediately. Liquid leaking from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
Maintenance
o
Your power tool should only be repaired by qualified personnel using identical spare parts.
This ensures that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
