Motor Replacement
Removal
1. Remove front and rear shroud, page 18. Remove
rear shroud mounting bracket (49).
2. Remove drive housing, page 23.
3. Remove gear cluster (89) and place in drive hous-
ing.
4. Remove tie strap, disconnect all wiring connections
and remove wiring harnesses.
5. Remove four nuts (19) underneath sprayer.
Remove two angled brackets (18) and remove
motor (84).
Installation
1. Replace motor (84), two angled brackets (18), and
tighten four mounting bolts (37) and nuts (19) under-
neath sprayer.
NOTE: Make sure motor is centered
on frame mounting plate.
Torque to 23.1 - 31.3 N•m (17 - 23 ft-lb).
2. Reconnect all wiring connections and place wires
back in harnesses. Route wiring through tie strap
(116) and attach to motor shell screw.
3. Remove gear cluster (89) from drive housing and
place in motor (84).
4. Replace bearing housing, page 23.
5. Replace rear shroud mounting bracket (49).
Replace shroud, page 18.
NOTICE
Do not drop gear cluster (89) when removing drive
housing (90). Gear cluster may stay engaged in
motor front end bell or drive housing.
