Mixing Shaft Factory Configuration

The factory configuration of the mix shaft assembly works well for most common, pump-grade stucco materials. The
configuration of the shaft can be changed if an alternate configuration is desired.

For most materials, it is recommended to reduce starting torque by positioning the pointed ends of the mixing
elements so that they are on the leading edge. However, for very thin materials, positioning some or all of the mixing
elements so that the blunt ends are on the leading edge may improve the mix quality.

* The mix shaft retainer has a left-handed thread to ensure it does not disassemble during operation. To loosen
retainer, rotate clockwise.
