2. Clean the device and plates with a soft cloth and a little mild detergent. Then dry the
device well.

cient clearance on all
sides and above (around 30 cm).
4. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed plug socket. Make sure that the cable is
not trapped between the grill surfaces! Allow the device to heat up for around 5 – 10
minutes to remove any production residues.
5. Switch the device off by pulling the mains plug out of the plug socket.
6. Allow the device to cool down and then clean it again.

CAUTION!

Caution: Danger of burns! The device will become hot during use. Make absolutely
sure that you do not come into contact with any heated parts such as the housing
or the plates during and after use of the device. Only touch the device by the han-
dles provided and use oven cloths or kitchen gloves when handling the device. Only
clean, transport and store away the device after it has cooled down completely.

When opening the device, keep a suf

cient distance away to prevent burns caused
by heat or hot steam.
You can simultaneously toast or roast bread or rolls on the bread toaster and
prepare meat,
fi
sh, vegetables or other food on the grill plates.
1. Place the closed grill on a stable, even, heat-resistant surface.
2. Connect the device to a properly installed plug socket. The operating lamp lights up
as soon as the device is connected to the mains power. Make sure that the cable
does not come into contact with hot surfaces during use.
3. The operating lamp (

) lights up and the device starts to heat up. After around 3
– 5 minutes the operating lamp goes out and the device has reached operating
temperature.
Please note that the operating lamp alternates between lighting up and going out
again. When the operating lamp lights up, this means that the device is heating
again in order to maintain a constant temperature.
4. Slide the fat collecting tray (4) into the recess which is provided for it on the device.
Toasting Bread Rolls
5. Open the cover of the bread roll toaster (

open the cover.
6. Place the bread or rolls that you want to prepare onto the plate and close the cover.
7. Keep the device closed for a few minutes. Remove your food when it is as brown as
you want it to be.
8. Use only a wooden or plastic utensil to remove your food.
Grilling
9. Open the cover of the grill plates (

) by pulling up the handle (

10. Place the food that you want to prepare on the lower grill plate and close the cover.
