• Once the device has heated up, the temperature control light will illuminate and
turn off at regular intervals. This is not a malfunction, but simply indicates that the
device is heating up again or interrupting the heating process in order to maintain
a constant temperature inside the device.
• You can reuse the fat or oil about 5 to 6 times as long as it is clear and doesn’t
have an unpleasant odour. Please also take note of the expiry date. Do not leave it
in the deep fryer for longer than 2 weeks.
• You can read information on cooking times and cooking temperatures on the
device’s control panel. Please note that the speci
fi
ed temperatures and times are
approximate values. This information may vary depending on the quality and size
of the food used and whether the food is raw or frozen. If necessary, adjust the
cooking times and temperatures.
• When deep frying frozen foods, follow the manufacturer’s speci
fi
cations for the
cooking times and temperatures provided on the packaging.
Tips and tricks
• Do not mix different types of fat or oil.
• Make sure that the foods you use are dry. This way, you can prevent fat from spraying or
over
fl
owing unnecessarily.
• Follow these steps for extra crispy fries made from fresh potatoes:After cutting up the
potatoes,
fi
rst wash them under cold water to remove the starch from the potatoes.
Then dry the fries completely before you deep fry them. This will make sure that your
fries are extra crispy and don’t stick together during the deep frying process.
• Do not over
fi
ll the frying basket! An over
fi
lled frying basket will lower the temperature
in the device, which means that your food will absorb too much fat and won’t be crispy.
• Oil/fat can be reused approximately 5 to 6 times. You can store it in the device with the
lid on. However, it should be changed after no later than two weeks or if it begins to
emit an unpleasant odour!
• The cooking times of course also depend on your personal taste: If you prefer your food
darker or lighter, softer or crispier, adjust the speci
fi
ed cooking times to your personal
taste.
• Cooking times also depend on the size and quantity of food and the cooking temperature.
A zucchini, which has been cut into medium-sized pieces, will take longer to cook than zuc-
chini cut into thin slices etc.
• Please observe the manufacturer’s speci
fi
cations on time and temperature when preparing
frozen foods.
