Inserts
Inserting:
Note the markings (
L
and
R
) on the inserts (
4, 5
) and the sockets (
10
). The
insert with the marking R goes in the socket with the marking R
.
The same applies to the
insert and socket with the marking L
.
Slide the inserts into the corresponding sockets and if necessary, turn them back and
forth until they click into place.
Removing:
Hold both inserts in place and press the eject button (
1
). They are pushed
out of the device.
Use
PLEASE NOTE!

Do not leave the device unattended during operation.
■
Do not overfi ll the mixing bowl (max. 1.5 l). This might result in the device overheating
or damage to the motor.
■
Never switch on the device if the tilting mixer head has not been fl ipped down!
■
Do not fl ip up the tilting mixer head while the device is in operation.
■
Do not place any objects or hands in the mixing bowl when the device is in operation.
■
Never fi ll the device with hot food or liquids! The contents must not be hotter than
50°C. Allow hot food to cool down before processing it any further with the device.
■
Use the device for no more than 3 minutes without interruption to prevent overheat-
ing. Allow the device to cool down before using it again.
The device is equipped with overload protection; the device switches off if it is
overloaded. In this case, pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and allow the
device to cool down for approx. 10 minutes. The device is then ready to be used
again.
1. Place the ingredients in the mixing bowl (

) in accordance with your recipe.
2. Attach the mixing bowl and the desired inserts (
4, 5
) to the device and fl ip down the
mixer head (

) (see the “Inserting / Removing Accessories” chapter).
3. Make sure that the switch for the speed settings (
3
) is in the
OFF
position before the
device is connected to the mains power in order not to switch the device on acciden-
tally.
4. The mains plug should be connected to a plug socket.
5. Switch on the device and set a suitable speed setting using the switch for the speed
settings:

1 – 3
Slow mixing, stirring and kneading
4 – 6
Fast mixing, stirring and kneading
6. To get even mixing, stirring and kneading, the bowl can be moved back and forth with
the aid of the lever for moving the turntable (
7
).
7. To switch off the device, move the switch for the speed settings to the
OFF
position.
Danger of injury due to rotating device parts!
Wait until the inserts have
come to a complete standstill before putting up the mixer head.
