Troubleshooting
If the device stops working properly,
fi
rst check whether you are able to correct the prob-
lem yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem
Possible cause/solution
The device does not
work.
• Was the device recently used? It has overheating protec-
tion which prevents the device from being switched on
again directly after a brewing process for safety reasons.
After a brewing process, you should therefore wait for a few
minutes until the device has cooled down before you start
another brewing process.
• Is the plug inserted in the socket correctly?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse of your mains connection.
• Is the device switched on?
• Is there suf
fi
cient water in the water tank?
The device does not
brew any coffee or
the device brews
very slowly.
• There is no water in the water tank.
• The
fi
lter is not
fi
lled.
• The device needs to be descaled (see the “Care” chapter).
