2. Place the rack on its longer legs into the cooking bowl.
3. Spread the food around the rack.
4. Close the cooking bowl with the lid.
5. Use the
TEMP
rotary knob to set a temperature of 100 °C to 120 °C.
6. Switch on the device with the
TIME
rotary knob.
7. The cooking time depends on the type and size of the food. You should therefore
check in between times whether it is cooked.
Deep Frying
1. Pour deep-frying fat or oil into the empty cooking bowl. Do not exceed the
MAX
mark-
ing (equivalent to 4.8 litres)!
2. Use the
TEMP
rotary knob to set the appropriate temperature.
3. Switch on the device with the
TIME
rotary knob.
4. Place the lid on the cooking bowl.
5. Attach the handle to the frying basket.
6. Once the cooking bowl has been
fi
lled up to the
MAX
marking with fat or oil,
fi
ll the
frying basket no more than ¾ full with food so that it has enough room to cook evenly.
If you use less fat or oil, pour correspondingly less food into the frying basket.
7. Once the
HEAT
heating control lamp has gone out and the deep-frying fat has melt-
ed, open the lid and carefully place the frying basket into the cooking bowl. Make sure
that all the items for frying are “floating” in the fat or oil. If this is not the case, either
spread around the items with a kitchen utensil or remove some of them.
8. Detach the handle from the frying basket and close the lid.
9. Use the
TIME
rotary knob to set the frying time.
10. Once the food is cooked, switch off the device (if this is not done automatically by the
timer) and take off the lid.
11. Carefully attach the handle to the frying basket.
12. Lift up the frying basket and hang it on the edge of the cooking bowl. Allow excess
fat / oil to drip off before serving.
