The device must be switched off when inserting or removing the mains plug.
■
Remove the mains plug if a fault occurs during operation or before a thunderstorm.
■
Always check the device for damage before putting it into operation. The device
should only be used when it is fully assembled, undamaged, and in working order!

Always place the device on a dry, even,
fi
rm and heat-resistant surface. Never place
the device on a soft surface. The ventilation slots on the bottom of the device must
not be covered. Otherwise it could overheat and be damaged.

Do not place the device on or next to heat sources such as hobs or ovens. Keep
naked

ames, e.g. burning candles, away from the device and the connecting cable.
■
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, persistent moisture, direct sun-
light or impacts.
■
Do not pour any cold water into the hot cooking bowl or onto the hot lid to prevent
any material damage.
■
Keep the device in a dry place at temperatures of between 0 and 40°C.
■
Make sure that the connecting cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges
and does not come into contact with hot surfaces (e.g. of the device).
■
When removing the mains plug from the plug socket, always pull on the mains plug
and never the mains cable. Do not pull or carry the device by the mains cable.
■
Never place heavy objects on the device.
■
Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer. If accessory parts which are not
authorised by the manufacturer are used, all warranty and guarantee claims are void.
■
Do not use the device if it has malfunctioned, fallen or been dropped in water. Have
it checked in a specialist workshop before using it again.
■
The surfaces of furniture may possibly contain elements which can attack and soften
the feet of the device. If necessary, place a suitable pad below the feet.
