Insert the end of the hose in the suction
adapter.

Connect the hand grip and the suction pipe.

Fit the floor tool to the suction pipe.
Vacuuming
Vacuuming up dry dirt
Please note:
You must ensure that the drum is dry and that a
cloth bag or paper bag is fitted.

Disconnect the fluid hose from the connector on
the vacuum cleaner.
•
Release the locking latches.
•
Lift the motor housing from the drum by carrying
handle and lay it on its side.
The motor housing should never be placed on
the filter cone.
•
Standing the motor housing on the filter cone
may cause to topple over and be damaged.

Place the cloth bag into the drum.
Inserting the paper bag (optional)
•
Disconnect the fluid hose from the connector on
the vacuum cleaner.
•
Release the locking latches.
•
Lift the motor housing from the drum by carrying
handle and lay it on its side. (see
Figure 3 )

Detach the suction adapter by turning it counter
clockwise. (see
Figure 1 )
•
Fold the carrying handle for the drum away from
the suction inlet.
•
Push the paper bag in to the slides as far as the
stop and lay it along the drum casing.
•
Insert the suction adapter and turn it clockwise
to lock. (see
Figure 1 )

Place the motor housing back on the drum.
The on/off switch must be located above the
suction opening.
•
Fasten the latches.
•
Connect the fluid hose with the connector on
the vacuum cleaner.

Holding the power cord by the plug, pull out the
required length and plug it into the mains socket.

Switch on the vacuum cleaner at on/off switch.

Adjust the level of suction by sliding the mechanical
suction regulator slide on the hand grip in the
direction of the arrow:
•
Slide open: Reduced suction
•
Slide closed: Maximum suction

Vacuuming using the accessories (If required,
connect them to the hand grip or the suction pipe).
Vacuuming up moist dirt and liquids
Please note:
You must ensure that there is no paper bag or
cloth bag in the drum and that the suction
regulator slide on the hand grip is closed.

Holding the power cord by the plug, pull out the
required length and plug it into the mains
socket. (see
Figure 7 )

Switch the vacuum cleaner on using the on/off
switch. (see
Figure 8 )

Close the suction regulator slide to prevent the
liquid from escaping. (see
Figure 9 )

A safety valve that breaks the air flow prevents
the drum filling with too much liquid. Increased
noise from the motor indicates that the valve is
closed. If this occurs, switch off the vacuum
cleaner and empty the drum.

If the vacuum cleaner falls over while in use, the
safety valve will break the air flow. If this occurs,
stand the vacuum cleaner on and switch it off
for a short while.
Washing
Before washing a surface, it should first be dry
vacuumed to remove any loose dirt particles.
Please note:
Before cleaning, you must ensure that the floor
surface is suitable for wet cleaning. Test an
inconspicuous area of your carpet or
upholstered furniture to make sure that it is
colourfast. The drum should not contain a cloth
bag or a paper bag during cleaning. The suction
regulator slide must remain closed.
