Cleaning and Maintenance

The ceramic hob must be regularly cleaned. Use
only reliable cleaning agents, those especially
designed for cleaning ceramic glass surfaces.
Any other cleaning agent may damage the
surface.
Clean the ceramic glass surface when it is cold or
at least partially cooled, except in case youu spill
sugar or sweet dish. Should this happen,
immediately wipe off the cooktop using cloth or
scraper, while the surface is still hot, otherwise
the surface may be seriously damage.

•

Regular cleaning is very simple. It is usually
enough if you wipe up the hob before and after
use with a wet cloth and then wipe it dry with a
clean cloth or tissue. Wiping it before use will
remove dust and small particles that may
damage the ceramic surface when moving the
pot. Wiping it after use will protect it and
prevent damage. A neglected ceramic hob will
soon loose its shine and become rough.

•

Dried stains or colour changes (caused by
using inadequate cleaning agents or
inadequate pots) can be cleaned with standard
cleaning agents used for cleaning the ceramic
glass surfaces. Apply the concentrated cleaning
agent on the stain, leave it work and then wipe
it with wet cloth (if not otherwise
reccommended in the instructons for the use of
cleaning agent).
CAUTION! When applied on a hot surface,
the cleaning agent may damage the ceramic
glass cooktop!

•

Remove the dried and burnt stains with
scraper!

•

Dried or burnt stains can be removed with a
scraper!

•

Protect the surface against damage with
special protective agents. This is especially
recommended before preparing sweat dishes.

•

Never use cloths or sponges with which you
usually wash the dishes, as they always contain
ordinary washing agents that may damage the
ceramic surface.
