4.25 Display backlight timeout
You can adjust the backlight timeout. Options of permanently On, 10, 20, 30,
45, 60, 90, 120 and 180 seconds are available.
1. Press and hold the MENU button. Use the TUNE/SELECT rotary to display
<System> and press the TUNE/SELECT rotary to Select.

<Sleep> is displayed. Use the TUNE/SELECT rotary to scroll to
<Backlight>. Press the TUNE/SELECT rotary again.
3. <Timeout> is displayed. Press the TUNE/SELECT rotary again. Use the
TUNE/SELECT rotary to scroll through the available options. Stop when the
backlight timeout you would like is displayed and press the TUNE/SELECT
rotary to Select.
Note : You can now use the TUNE/SELECT rotary to scroll and Select, as
you did to set the Backlight timeout, to change the settings for the backlight
brightness for the <Dim level> (Standby) and <On level>. There are 3 options
available, High, Medium and Low.
4.26 Display Language
You can change the display language of your radio, there are 4 options
available: English, French, German and Italian.
1. Press and hold the MENU button. Use the TUNE/SELECT rotary to display
<System> and press the TUNE/SELECT rotary to Select.
2. <Sleep> is displayed. Use the TUNE/SELECT rotary to scroll to
<Language>. Press the TUNE/SELECT rotary again.
3. <English> is displayed. Use the TUNE/SELECT rotary to scroll through the
available options and press the TUNE/SELECT rotary to Select.
4.27 Software Version
1. Press and hold the MENU button. Use the TUNE/SELECT rotary to display
<System> and press the TUNE/SELECT rotary to Select.
2. <Sleep> is displayed. Use the TUNE/SELECT rotary to scroll to <SW
version>. Press the TUNE/SELECT rotary again.
3. The software version will be displayed.
