PROTECT YOURSELF!
You must wear a helmet, and ideally thick booties and a wetsuit to practice this sport.
DO NOT SINK YOUR FEET TOO DEEP INTO YOUR STRAPS.
The practice of Foil sports with footstraps can, in case of a fall, be dangerous for your ankles and even your
knees. Indeed, in case of imbalance or a fall, it is important to be able to get your feet out of the footstraps
quickly. The lever arm of the Foil and its force are directly reflected on your ankles.
WHEN USING YOUR FOIL ALWAYS USE COMMON SENSE, HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF THE
SEA, RESPECT NATURE, AND TRY TO HELP OTHERS WITH CAUTION WHEN THEY ARE IN
TROUBLE.
REGULARLY CHECK AND PROPERLY MAINTAIN YOUR EQUIPMENT.
Make sure that the different parts of the Foil are tightly clamped to each other and to the Board before use.
Also, check that your Foil and Board are not punctured, scratched or fissured, as this will affect its durability
and your safety. We remind you that a Foil that is detached from its Board sinks immediately.

ALWAYS BE CAREFUL !
SURFOIL
The practice of Surfoil and SUPfoil is subject to the same rules as Surfing. Scrupulously respect the rules of
priority and observe the water carefully! Do not jump if someone steals the right of way, the consequences
could be dramatic!
Keep a safe distance!
Avoid too powerful and too hollow wave conditions, including churning whitewash. KEEP CLEAR of the
shorebreak.
Equip your Board with a solid Leash to prevent it from continuing to slide when you fall.
Do not get in or out of the water with the Foil facing you. Always keep the Board between you and the Foil.
KITEFOIL
Respect the rules of navigation and priority.
Kitesurfing and Kitefoil are similar to a sailing ship. As such, Kitesurfers must strictly apply the International
Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (RIPAM) for the articles that concern them. They are not optional.
You will be held responsible in the event of an accident in disregard of these rules.
Never practice Kitefoil in offshore wind, stormy weather, in threatening or changing conditions.
Be careful, in case of a fall, it is possible that the Foil could get caught in your lines. Cast off urgently if this
happens.
Do not Kitefoil with a Board Leash.
Note that a Carbon Foil tends to float. With no pressure from you, the Board/Foil assembly can remain on its
side, with the tips of the Foil wings out of the water. In case of a jump or a fall, be careful not to fall back on
the Foil.
