6.5.4.2 Configuring the Repeater

To configure a router as the repeater:

Step 1

Select

Repeater Function

under

Wireless Setup

in the main menu.

The

Wireless Repeater

page is displayed. Select the

Enable Wireless

Repeating Function

check box and select the

Wireless Repeater

radio

button.

Step 2

Set related parameters in this page.

Disable Wireless Clients Association

: If selected, the repeater does not

transmit any signals to clients that are connected to it. Generally, clear this
check box.

Repeater IP Address

: Set the repeater’s IP address different from the

wireless basic station and other repeaters to avoid IP address conflict. We
suggest setting IP addresses of the same network segment for the wireless
basic station and repeaters.

Basic Station MAC Address

: Enter the MAC address of the wireless basic

station.

Step 3

Click

Submit

to save your settings.
