3. MODEL IDENTIFICATION
Model, series and chassis number are the tractor's identification data. They are
shown on a plate attached to the accessory box cover, n.27 fig.2.
4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
4.1 LIGHT SWITCH AND HORN
See fig.4
0= Off
1= Parking lights
2= Low beams
3= High beams (do not use on road)
Push: horn.
4.2 IGNITION SWITCH
See fig.5 and consult engine Operating Manual.
P = Parking lights with light switch fig.4 on 1.
0 = No circuit live
1 = Dashboard switched on
2 = Start engine.
Before starting the engine, check to be sure that the gear levers (n.5-7 fig.1) are
in neutral. Push in the clutch pedal (n.2 fig.1) to close the switch on the "Push
And Start" device and turn the ignition key (fig.5) to 1. All the indicator and status
lights will come on. Turn the ignition key to 2 to start the engine. When the
engine starts, release the key which will automatically snap back to 1. Check all
the indicator and status lights.
Each starting attempt should last just a couple of seconds. Wait a minute before
trying again if the engine does not start as this will prevent the battery from
running down quickly.
