Operating Your Dehumidifier

DEHUMIDIFIER CONTROL PANEL

To turn the appliance on, press the ON button.

The unit will start to dehumidify. The Operation Light will flash until the compressor
starts to run, the light will stop flashing and remain on when the compressor has
started.

The compressor will switch off automatically when the water container is full.
THE FAN WILL CONTINUE TO RUN.
As long as the water container is not full, the appliance will continue to operate until it
is switched off manually.
If the appliance is switched off manually and then switched back on, the compressor will
start to operate after three minutes.
To turn the appliance off, press the OFF button.
Wait at least 3 minutes between switching the unit off and back on again to prevent
damage to the compressor.

If the power supply is cut at the mains without the appliance being powered Off first,
allow at least 10 minutes before switching the unit back on.
If the unit fails to operate after it has been switched off at the mains before allowing to
power Off; switch off the power at the power supply, leave the unit to stand for 10
minutes. Switch the power supply back on then Press the On button again on the unit,
the unit should now operate.
The recommended operating temperature range is 15

to 35

but it is still effective

C. Ultimately the performance of this appliance is dependant on the amount

of moisture or water vapour in the air.

Please note: This appliance has a pre-set humidity setting of 50%. If the humidity in the
room drops below 50%, the unit will stop dehumidifying until the humidity increases to
over 50% again.

Please note: These appliances are rated to extract 12L,16L or 20L per day in an
environment of 80% humidity and temperature of 30°C. This is the world-wide standard
for rating dehumidifiers. In New Zealand we do not have climatic conditions with this
humidity and high temperature. Accordingly, the extraction levels may be lower.
