5. Select the quality and size. It suggested to use the defaulted value.
6. Click the “Start” button after the parameters are set.
When the converting progress reached 100% and prompt conversion finished, the file is suc
-
cessfully converted. Copy the converted file to the player and you can watch it now.
XV. System Upgrade
There are two ways to upgrade the system:
1). Select “Setup→ system →system setup” in the main interface, and upgrade the system as
per the prompts. Detailed explanation please refer to chapter 13.
2). Upgrade the firmware by using the “Firmware Upgrade Tool” in the enclosed CD.
Steps:
1. Turn off the player, press and hold “Menu” button and connect the player with PC via USB
cable.
2.The PC finds “Rock USB Device” and requires installing the driver. (If the driver has been
installed, just skip this step.)
3. After installed the driver, run the “Firmware Upgrade Tool” in the enclosed CD.
4. Select the firmware file in “Firmware”.
5. Click “Update” to upgrade, and operate as per the prompts. Disconnect the player and the
PC after upgrading, and restart the player. The upgrade is finished then.
