User can use SkyATA-101 for other IMs/Softphones like AOL Instant 
Messenger/AIM, Windows Live

as an audio device by choosing IM mode from SkyATA-101 system tray icon at 
the right bottom corner of Windows desktop. But user can’t press phone keypad to 
make or answer a call.
