HW SERIES COMMISSIONING INSTRUCTIONS
The water softener is supplied preprogrammed and only requires a couple of settings and
commissioning to get the unit into service.
1.
Press & Hold either the Up or Down buttons until the display reads “TD” Adjust the displayed time until the current time of day
is displayed Press the extra cycle button to return to normal operation. If left for more than 5 seconds, then the unit will return to
normal operation.
2.
Open the inlet water to approximately 1/3
rd
open.
3.
Press & hold the Extra cycle button for 5 seconds to activate a manual regeneration cycle.
4.
Once the display reads “BW” then check the water is running to drain. Once the water is flowing clean and clear then fully open
the inlet water and then press the extra cycle button again to advance to the next stage “BD”. Once this is displayed then repeat
again to “RR” is displayed Leave the valve to finish the cycle which will take approx. 10 minutes, and this will add some water
to the salt tank.
5.
Check for any leaks during this commissioning cycle.
6.
Fill the brine tank half full with salt and top up with water to the same level as the salt.
