10. Troubleshooting Tips
10.1 Possible Problems and Solutions
This centrifuge has a self-diagnostic function. If a problem occurs, an error/warning code will be displayed on the time
display screen and the operator can determine the malfunction with the alarm code below.
Problem
Cause
Nothing displays on the screen when the
Power Switch is turned on
Building circuit breaker or GFI
receptacle has tripped
Reset the circuit breaker or
GFI receptacle and turn on
Power Switch.
The fuse has blown.
Replace the fuse.
Alarm code displayed

Lid fault
The lid opened during operation.
Close the door immediately.
Press the Start/Stop button
while the door is opening.
Close the door and then start
normal operation.

Temperature
fault
Air vents are blocked.
Clean air vents.
Radiator fan is damaged.
Replace radiator fan.

Incorrect
parameter
The set parameter exceeds
the allowable range.
Modify the set
parameter value.

10.2 How to Open the Lid
WHEN POWERED ON
CAUTION
• The lid should only be opened when the rotor has come to a complete stop.
1. Turn on the
Power Switch
; the lid is then released automatically.
2. The lid lock will be released automatically once the operation is finished.
3. It is possible to release the lid by pressing the
Door
button when the rotor has stopped.
