4. Connect the free end of #6 grounding
wire to primary grounding cable. To
accomplish this, use a C-type
compression tap and crimping tool to
secure primary grounding cable to #6
grounding wire. The length of the
primary grounding cable from the #6
ground wire C-type compression tap to
the ground rod (between points D and F
in Figure 18 should not exceed 3 meters
(10 feet) in length
